After receiving his sister's letter of invitation, Hiyomi Hiro goes to the house indicated on the map, but finds it abandoned. Its gate is locked and the windows are boarded up. He has no choice but to go back to town on foot. There, he finds a cart loaded with a pile of furniture.

The person pulling the cart is a strange looking little girl in a maid costume, and at the top of the furniture pile, there sits a beautiful girl with long hair in a black one-piece dress. The cart is stuck in a ditch and will not move.

Then, an iron pillar of a building under construction falls. Hiro protects the girl but is crushed under the pillar. He is sent to a hospital, but there is nothing they can do for him and he passes away.

Suddenly, the girl appears in front of his body in the mortuary. She then says these strange words to Hiro: "This is a good body."

The girl stands and holds her index finger up over his body. Then, fireballs gather around her finger. They drop onto the white cloth covering his face, and a heat haze appears around his body…

The story settings takes place on earth where alien's attacks have turned into everyday sight instead of a mere rare phenomenon. All countries around the world have united their efforts to develop effective counter measures against the alien's attack, but all without success.

In Japan (where else?), there is a secret organization called GRA (GRAND RIFUREKUTO AMUDO) under Alien Defense Agency direct control. The main purpose of this organization is to find a special counter measure against alien's attack with help from Dr. Sanada Mio.

Dr. Sanada Mio invented a next-generation weapon which she called "G-on" to repel alien's attack. This new secret weapon needs to be resonated with the heart of its user (has to be young girls! you know japanese anime/manga common approach for transformation equation :b) and it will turned into a sword which holds POWER proportional to the strength of the heart of the girl who uses it. Nevertheless to say, the new weapon and the plan are approved immediately and a special school is established to recruit young girls from across the country.

Kai and Hikaru are protected by a corporation called ASHURUM, from a society that fears E's. ASHURUM is 1 of the 12 corporations that rule the world. Found by Eiji, Kai was selected to be in ASHURUM’s special force AESES and had to undergo intensive training in different areas, such as combat, hacking, and psychic training.

When Kai had free time he visited Hikaru at the hospital, Hikaru's condition never improved. After a year, Shen-lon told Kai that Eiji really just wanted his sister, because she was said to have had amazing psychic powers, but due to her illness she was not able to use them. Shen-lon continued to tell Kai that Eiji was just hoping Kai would have those amazing powers too.

Kai didn’t believe Shen-lon and goes on a mission to Gald city, with the other E's, to infiltrate a hideout of guerillas that is said to have been using E’s against their will. Kai finds some civilians caught in the middle of the battle. While trying to save a little girl, one of the civilians that is afraid of E’s, shots and kills Kai’s partner.

Kai, still shocked from the death of his partner, tries to help the civilians, but meets up with, Shen-lon. In a rage, Shen-lon unleashes a psychic blast that decimates half the city.

Later, Kai is found by a girl named Asuka, washed up on a shore. After being brought back to health, Yuuki tells Kai that he would not have his psychic powers back to what they were unless he goes back to ASHURUM. After spending time in the city and with the people of the city, Kai decides to stay with Asuka and Yuuki for a while.

The flying start of a high school hegemony!!

The glorious fighting days of a violent 17 year old girl.

Kantou, a place where high school students fight with each other in bone smashing battles. There, 7 high school forces Rakuyou High, Nanyou Academy, Kyosa Academy, Youshu Campus, Yoshu Academy, Seitou Campus, Ryoshu High fight to prove their strength to the world.

With no regards to gender, the high schools are always together fighting. One day, some boys amused by the fighting, decides to put Madatama (ancient comma shaped jewels) to their bodies. The Madatamas they possessed held the fate of the warriors from the Sangokushi period long ago whose spirits got sealed within.

The story takes place in Nanyou Campus where the violent high school heroine, Sonsaku Hakufu has transferred to. She possesses the spirit of the Koutou Champion, Sonsaku who passed away at the age 26. The Sonsaku who is destined to fight. Shuuyu Koukin is worried about Sonsaku so he watches over his childhood friend. But, because of him worrying, Sonsaku just gets excited about the battles.

However, an order was issued to defeat Sonsaku and so she is attacked by strong enemies one after the other. Sonsaku was able to get through all the battles due to her strength but, before long, she fights with one of the top 4 fighters of Nanyou, Ryomou Shimei. But, in the dark lies a conspiracy for hegemony. What will become of Sonsaku Hakufu's fate....!?

"Ikkitousen" refers to strength of how one person can fight a thousand people at once.
