Synopsis: One sunny June day, the government loses control of a biological
weapons experiment, unleashing a deadly plague that kills 99% of the population.
Now the survivors gather together in two groups: one aligned with the forces
of good, and one with an entity who might be the devil himself. The future of
mankind hinges on the courage of the survivors to stand and face down this entity...
Gary Sinise plays Stu Redman, formerly of Arnette, Texas, one of the plague's
epicenters. The town's only survivor, Stu begins a journey on which he will
experience love, loss, faith, and everything in between. This 1994 television
miniseries was Gary's first "romantic lead" role onscreen.
